Experimental Photography

Inspired by applied experimental photography used by Idris Khan, Italian Futurists and Early Cinematographers as part of their practice, I decided to study aspects of movement through manipulation of settings on my camera.

Some of my techniques involved moving the camer from one side to another or top to bottom, applying different speeds, as well as changing the aperture, ISO or shutter speed.

The resulting photographs display the possibility of movement, which has informed my practice and the way I portray movement in my own work.
